Just Eat app good for
This app sure does make it a lot easier for me to order food with one hand while holding a sleeping baby! So convenient & easy to use.
I have been using the app for nearly a year and have had no problems with my orders. I would recommend anyone to try it.
Great app But I wish there were more North Vancouver restaurant choices.
Would be better if it supported Apple PY, but otherwise works pretty good. Used it a few times now and no nasty surprises
Made ordering online an even easier and smoother transaction. No problems so far with this app for my 5c.
I love this ap, especially on those nights you have a little too many drinky-poohs. Gets everything, all on the card, tip included. Easy come, easy go for the driver
Some bad moments
Since the new update, search by cuisine just shows a blank screen, some restaurants have "invalid product" warnings despite them being fine ordering from the site, and I have to log in and type my postal code to search every time now when it used to hold that info for me. Please change it back!!!
The company charged your card instantly but when a restaurant rejects your order, it takes 2 or more business days to receive your refund. What kind of piss poor policy is this? This has happened to me twice in one week. They offered me a voucher twice. But if they already took my money, then why cant I just order somewhere else and apply that money that they took? What if I try placing a new order and the next restaurant cancels on me, now Ive spent more money without getting anything. Terrible policy. With Uber Eats, Foodora, Door Dash, etc. sharing the same market in Toronto, I am never using this service again. Hey Just Eat, take a look at how many more restaurants are participating with Door Dash and Uber Eats. Perhaps its time to pay attention to the market that youre slowly losing. First to market doesnt guarantee you the market.
Orders dont always get through and by the time you realize this its too late
Ordered my food and payed online. I was waiting for what seemed like an oddly long time so I decided to call the restaurant and see what was going on. Turns out the restaurant didnt even my receive my order. I called Just Eat, they are able to take your money right away, but arent able to refund your money back immediately. Not cool. They couldnt even resend my order so I ended up not getting any food at all. Now here I am, waiting for a refund that will probably never come.
I get an update notification at least 3times a week. Fix it or get better programmers.
Do you know what an experimental branch is?
Its totally impossible to pay. I always end up calling the restaurant and going directly to them. I hope you dont make any money with this crap app.
